Review Essay The Pink Panther 2

The Pink Panther movie 2 takes place in France. The main character is Inspector Jacques Clouseau. Clouseau is a parking officer and a detective. He is very hilarious and orthodox. Also, he is very careful with his job as a parking officer; even he always brings meters to make sure the users of the parking area park their car in the correct place. His chief is Inspector Charles Dreyfus. Dreyfus always feels he is very smart guy; he always emphasizes Clouseau to never recognize him as his chief in public.
Inspector Dreyfus gives an order to Clouseau to leave France and go to Japan. He orders Clouseau to protect the ancients artifacts, The Imperial Sword, because the others ancient artifacts like the Magna Carta and Turin Shroud had been stolen by The Tornado, the famous thief who steal the ancient artifact before, The Pink Panther. As a result, Clouseau must join with another International Detective that had been known as The Dream Team to solve these cases. Afterward, Clouseau has a farewell hug with his secretary, Nicole Durant, and then go to the airport accompanied by his partner, Gilbert Ponton.

However, Clouseau cancelled to go to Japan because The Pink Panther had been stolen by the Tornado. Clouseau and Ponton back to the scene of crime, where the other members of the Dream Team gathered, Inspector Pepperidge from the Great Britain, Vicenzo Roccara Brancaleone from Italy, Kenji Mazuto from Japan, and Sonia Solandres from India. They work together to solve who is the thief of the stolen artifacts by collecting the evidence that left by the Tornado. Finally, after Clouseau voted off from the team, the others Dream Team find that the Tornado has killed him self and left the suicide note that claiming he destroyed the Pink Panther and left the others ancient artifacts to be recovered.
Does the Tornado really died? Why the Tornado that has many of the ancient artifacts killed him self? Does the cases about stealing the ancient artifacts really solved? Is it true that the Pink Panther really destroyed? To find out the answers you must watch The Pink Panther movie 2! I have to say that the story was full of hilarious, inspiring, and satisfying.
I like this movie because it kept me laughing every scene that the main character, Clouseau, socializing with his environment and the people around him. The main character believes in his self and never bothers by others opinion. The movie is definitely marvelous that makes you forget your problem for a while. I recommended this movie to teenager and over. I dare you to feel the foolishness of hilarious detective.

Spanking or Naughty (Corporal Punishment)


“What is the answer for number one, Sora”? “I do not know, Sir”. “Take your skirt up, I am going to spank your legs”. That is kind of conversations between student and teacher in Math class. The student, Sora, did not know the answer for the question, and then his teacher spanked her legs. The teacher hoped that Sora will learn and prepare herself to enter his class. Spanking include as corporal punishment that has many against arguments than pro arguments. They think about spanking contain violence that hurt student’s body and leave scar then pain. Some people say that spanking students when they are wrong is very helpful to discipline and teach the students, and the following reasons will show why corporal punishment like spanking to teach students discipline should not be banned.
The first reasons for allowing using spanking toward students is to discipline the students. For example, a child who is twelve years old that always late for math class gets spanking from his teacher. The teacher use spanking to teach the student discipline, so in the next meeting they will never late again. In the past, teachers taught their student by spanking a lot, so that their students understood about discipline itself and they success to face the future because the hard lesson. Nowadays, many people against spanking even the law prohibit hurting the students. Teachers who do not use spanking in their ways to discipline the students cause students have more free activities without afraid of spanking, they free to express their self, as a result, they are very careless in their life and many of them fail to face the future.
The second reasons for allowing using spanking toward students is to straightened their behavior. If the students fight their friend after give understanding by the teachers, the teachers will give the students punishment. In fact of their truly serious about never fight your friend’s warning. Diana Baumrind, the researcher at the American Psychological Association Convention, Berkeley Institute of Human Developed, University of California, says that “Her team finds no evidence for unique detrimental effect of normative physical punishment”. In other word, she strongly believes in bringing back spanking in corporal punishment in school that has no evidence harm emotional toward students.
Despite for allowing spanking as corporal punishment to punish the students, spanking also causes rebellious insides the students. If teachers use spanking to punish students, the students only feel afraid to do that once, after that they will do the same thing. Fredrick Green, author of the humanist, says that “The essence of corporal punishment is the influence of pain and humiliation. It is taught by fear that cannot describe either pain or humiliation as being developmentally enhancing”. In addition, the discipline by spanking has effect for the short time and will disappear when the treat of punishment disappears.
Finally, there are many reasons to ban and not to ban the corporal punishment toward students. Every single step that the teachers had done to discipline the students contains advantages and disadvantages. If teachers use spanking to punish the students, the student’s behavior might rebellious to fight spanking. Teachers will harm the children slowly, leave scar, and pain. However, if teachers do not use spanking as punishment, the students will freely do what they want to do. They do not care if they had done the bad thing. As a result, if teachers use spank to punish the student, do it only when they really do the bad thing that cannot be tolerated anymore. It depends on the teacher how they discipline the student, by spanking or not.

    Summary of Toy Story Movie
    Toy Story is a story about many toys belongs to a boy’s name is Andy. Andy’s favorite toy is Woody. Woody is a cowboy toy. Because Andy is usually play with Woody, so Woody becomes leader from all of toys. This toys is not ordinary toys, this toys is live. They talk each other, feel sad, happy, and love.
    When Andy’s birthday, he gets a new famous toy a hero in space name is “Buzz Lightyear”. Andy usually plays with his new toy, because of that Woody feel jealous. Woody makes a plan to abandon Buzz, and he start his plan, but another toy see what Woody has done and tell to another toys. All of toys start to hate Woody. Woody fell what he has done was wrong and try to find Buzz by himself.
    In the house, Andy and his family are going to move. Andy start for packing his toys but he cannot find Woody and Buzz, Andy is very sad of that.
    Woody find Buzz in another house close to Andy’s house. But he know that something happen to Buzz. Buzz knows he just an ordinary toy who cannot fly and only has ordinary laser. He cannot accept it. In fact, Buzz Lightyear is a hero that can fly and safe the space with his laser.  Woody feels pity and tries to speak honest to Buzz. He feels jealous with buzz because Buzz is a famous toys that a hero who safe the space and every kid in the world love him. Although, Woody just ordinary cowboy toy and cannot do anything special like Buzz, but Woody tells to Buzz that a boy who love both of them is waiting in the house. Buzz feels sad because he has more play with Andy make Woody jealous to him. Buzz accepts himself as a toy and try to save Woody for not separate by their owner. The way to go home is not easy; they will have to pass through a ruthless toy killer, Sid Phillips. Both of them try to go home, but Andy and his family already leave with car. Woody tries to use Buzz wings to fly by flaming from the lighter. They pass to the Andy’s car and get in to Andy’s packing. Andy sees both of them and very happy he can find his favorite toys again.


    Moral Message from Toy Story is do not jealous by another person who has brightness side than us. Everybody has brightness side and weakness side. Woody feels jealous because Buzz is good toy than his, and Buzz knows that he just ordinary toy different with the real one. But the important thing is Andy their owner very sad if Woody and Buzz not around. Someone who loves us is never forgetting us and accept us what we are. Do not worry about who you are because people around you always accept your condition. The thing you must do is be your own self and believe each other, like Buzz Lightyear believes to Woody for comes back to Andy their owner.
